Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico was born to a music-loving family. The music she grew up with was classical and old boleros, and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas as well as any theatrical performance. At age 16 she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense training in singing. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. She sang at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. After relocating in California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana was also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
