Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981 is an American actress. He began his career with the roles he played in TV series like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. After appearing in several films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he became known for portraying the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in the film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America is featured in Marvel's Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019 brought him greater recognition. He was one of the most highly paid actors on the planet through his roles in the Marvel franchise.
